Angle of Repose, 2013

We seem to still be moving, Simone Subal Gallery, New York, NY
Materials: HD video projection on installation, steel, aluminum, bamboo, dried guava, bluestone gravel, chicken wire, fiberglass, pico projector, iphone, Denisyuk reflection hologram

The phenomenon of perception itself is directly addressed in Angle of Repose, 2013, where a triangulation of viewpoints draws the viewer into the locus of the installation, a tiny green
4”x5” reflection hologram, which depicts objects that are also present in the sculpture just to it’s left. The objects are present allowing you to view it in its physical as well as figurative form, while physical and virtual viewers walk around simultaneously viewing the artwork.
